About Us

Lark Landing B&B is a luxury guest retreat in Florence, Colorado, poised on the banks of the Arkansas River. In fact, the river actually runs through our property, so you can fish right outside the front door. The riverfront setting is lush with gardens and cottonwood trees, while the surrounding terrain is typical of the American southwest: Sagebrush, cactus and cattle, set against a verdant Rocky Mountain backdrop.

The Accommodations

Our guest accommodations comprise one (note: ONE) very private, second-story, studio apartment (the Carriage House) overlooking the river, and separate from our personal residence. For details, please see the Accommodations page.

The Property

For your outdoor enjoyment, we offer four landscaped acres on the south side of the river (including a fishing pond), plus two acres on the north side, complete with campsite. You are welcome to feed our goats, gather fresh eggs from our chickens, and pick a peck of ripe tomatoes or juicy, red apples.

Like to fish? Bring your rod and angle for trout from our river terrace, or try your luck at the Florence River Park adjacent to us. At the park, you can swim in the river, body surf against the current, or enjoy a mile-long walk through the woods.

Our Location

We’re just 10 minutes from Cañon City, 15 minutes to the Royal Gorge train, 25 minutes to the Royal Gorge bridge, and 35 minutes from both Colorado Springs and Pueblo. Although we’re in a rural farm community, we are only 2 miles outside the Florence city limits, so you can enjoy “country life” at Lark Landing, while still being seconds away from shopping, dining and evening entertainment.
